These terms of use ("terms") govern your access to and use of this website, operated by Lateral, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, United States ("lifeOS", "we", "us"). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

2. The website and the product

This website is informational: it describes lifeOS and lets you request a demonstration. The lifeOS product itself — a private, single-tenant deployment — is provided only under a separate written agreement between us and each customer. Nothing on this website forms part of that agreement, constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, or guarantees the availability, features, or performance of the product. Product capabilities described here may change.

3. No professional advice

Content on this website is provided for general information. It is not — and must not be relied on as — financial, investment, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice. Decisions you make in your own affairs remain your own.

4. Intellectual property

The website and its content — text, design, graphics, logos, and the lifeOS name and wordmark — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the website for your personal or internal business evaluation. No other rights are granted. You may not use the lifeOS name or marks without our prior written consent.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the website in violation of applicable law;
  • interfere with or disrupt the website, its security measures, or the infrastructure serving it;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
  • scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content or data other than as permitted by our robots.txt;
  • misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity in communications with us.

6. Third-party services

The website relies on third-party infrastructure (such as hosting and font delivery) and may reference or link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and referencing them is not an endorsement. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lifeOS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the website, even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the website will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold lifeOS harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these terms or misuse of the website.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the website will be brought exclusively in the courts located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits rights you hold as a consumer under mandatory local law.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here with a new date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. General

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the website.
